North East Wales 'MIND'
North East Wales Mind
Every week more and more people ask for our help when they're in mental health crisis. Difficult times, leading to depression, anxiety, and stress can affect us all. Young people especially don't know where to turn.
That’s why we’re here. We’re fighting for mental health for everyone in Flintshire and Wrexham.
At North East Wales Mind we support people to make positive changes, get things back on track and live life to the full. We help with counselling, wellbeing activities, lifestyle coaching and self-management training. We’re always here to listen and have an open door to anyone in mental or emotional distress.
Many of our activities focus on bringing people together and encouraging peer support. There are Community Wellbeing Hubs in Flint, Shotton, Mold and Wrexham. From there we run activities, such as social drop-ins, yoga. relaxation, walking, gardening and theatre workshops. They make a huge difference to people’s mental health and wellbeing, and improve their lives, connecting them with new friends and bringing much needed confidence back.
Support from everyone at Castlewood Rocks means so much to us, because with it we can reach out to even more people that need us.
Thanks for your support and for joining us in our fight for better mental health.
